My 8 year old son is cat mad and it is difficult to find something cat related for boys so I was so glad to find this game! It is really well designed, simple to play and lots of fun.
The magnetic mechanism for flicking the four yellow balls with the cat’s paw works really well. You win by either flicking the black ball from the nose, or three cats “teeth” (white balls), or if you happen to land your four yellow firing balls into your opponents side leaving them with 8 yellow balls. (Your 4 and their 4).
It’s easiest to win by knocking the nose ball out, and as a consequence the game can be quick.
When finished It folds at the end of the game, but it’s a bit hit and miss as you have to align everything perfectly for it to close nicely. But get this right and it’s a nice neat box, although could be a tad bigger for the paws.
I can see this being good for Christmas as you could in theory play in teams. It’s different and fun and almost purrrfect.
