I wanted to follow all the bridal wedding day traditions, but didn’t want to spend much on a garter I would only wear briefly - so this is ideal!
It does look a bit cheap, but won’t show under the dress. There is a lot of frilly lace, which sticks out a bit and won’t be to everyone’s tastes. Under an A line dress this shouldn’t be a problem though! It is reasonably soft and comfortable (though I only tried it on briefly).
It is a bit loose on me. I am a size 8 and though it stayed up when I tried it on, it didn’t feel very tight and it might work it’s way down when I’m moving around on the day! It would be better if available in two sizes to accommodate everyone. But I might add a few stitches to tighten it slightly, or use some body tape to make sure it stays in place.
Overall for the price, this is a good buy for anyone who wants to follow the tradition without spending a lot of money. Most I’ve seen are around £10 and come in unnecessary gift boxes etc. so this is a bargain considering.
