I would return it if it wasn't a birthday present tomorrow for my son. When I start building I follow the instructions. I couldn't believe that when you scree all the parts, wood crack. It is not my first item I ever build, so, I know what I was doing.
Delivery was very quick, instarction is poor, I had to build it twice. When you follow the instarction, then when you turn it over, it's all wrong.
If you going to buy it, build the face up not down like it suggested on instruction.
I could believe I spend 1,5 building kids toy, I build 3 desk in hour and half. It's a good toy but it will.not last long, maybe a month or two and then it will break. It's not as sturdy quality, it will break.
But I know for sure my 2 sons and my daughter age 7,8,4 will enjoy playing. It's very good but don't follow instructions and be prepared if wood will crack as you going to screw.
