The product received was not in working order. It did not start. I immediately sent a message to the seller but there was no response or help. I tried calling the helpline number displayed on the product but the number no longer exists (0800). I have asked for the refund and await further processing. Having no access to speak to a person from seller's team/ or customer services makes it hard due to logistics of sending a large machine back. For example, the component part once assembled (paper tray) may not be easy to detach again.

Bought this shredder for work.
Arrived damaged but we managed to fix it as required for a lot of shredding.
Keep stopping without any reason (overheating / jam)
Power switches off whilst there is paper in the tray to be shredded.
The pull out basket looks like a corrugated plastic / board not a plastic bin that other shredders have had.
All in all not worth the £339

I have never been so disappointed with a Fellowes product as I am with this paper shredder. It has not worked well since buying it. It DOES NOT autofeed 100 pages. Instead it takes the first 5 or 6 sheets and then it tries to take the entire bundle all at once and gets jammed. I needed a shredder that I didn't have to man. But this shredder needs constant maning as it is always always getting jammed. We have added the fancy over priced oil that Fellowes recommended and it helped little. I will never ever recommend or buy another shredder from Fellowes.

Could not get it to work when I finally retrieved it from Homebase to which it had been delivered by DPD for some unknown reason. The Amazon chat assistant tried hard to help but we eventually gave up. Amazingly it started working 10 minutes later after I had removed and firmly replaced the bin. so I will see what develops

Originally, I thought this shredder was good but it has failed after 10 months and the Amazon retail partner doesn’t want to know. Fortunately, I contacted the manufacturer and they are supplying a replacement. These things are not repairable and it will go into the small appliances skip. Such a waste. I find shredders are not very durable.

This auto shredder works well, either with piles of A4 paper in the feeder (though you have to make sure it's a neat and tidy pile) or with small bundles of miscellaneous sheets fed through the slit at the top. It does heat up quite quickly, so that it has to take a short rest, and hence it might not be good for an environment where there is a constant stream of material. But for a home office, where from time to time there is non-urgent shredding to be done, it's fine.

This is easily the best and quietest shredder I have ever owned. Simple to setup (remove from box, remove tape and instruction book). Munches its way through piles of paper loaded in the lid and handles odd items via the letterbox hand feed. Demolished in a few hours a pile of papers that would of taken days with the old manual unit.
