I can’t say for certain whether the fish don’t care for the taste, they are keeping quiet about it, or can’t manage to swallow the large particles, but for some reason it is not nearly as popular as the competitor product I was feeding them until yesterday. Will have to revert to the more expensive better quality food. Sad that Amazon reviews inform me that there is a reluctance on Amazons part to permit return/refund on this item. You live and learn.

So I reordered another non subscription and have ended up with 2.theres no way of contacting seller or returning item. I have also read THIS FOOD CAN KILL YOUR FISH SO I DO NOT WANT TO RISK IT. Unfortunately the fish in my pond, not fancy ones, didn’t like these at all. They would wait to be fed every morning but refuse to eat even when I crumbled the sticks up in case size was a problem.

No idea how fish decide but they swam up, appeared to ‘smell’ them then swam away.

Tub into bin sadly.

These are amazing value but my pond fish are not hugely appreciative! But they do seem to disappear so assume they are being eaten even though fish are not in a mad rush to partake.
UPDATE: Over time fish seem to have got used to them and they disappear quicker, but fish seem to be a little nervous at the moment - I've seen a magpie eyeing them greedily so fish are reluctant to come out from under the lily pads.

Waste of money for me. Tempted by the car moetetive price. Too large for smaller goldfish to eat. Bigger goldfish tried it and spat them out. Cut it into smaller sized portions - monotonous - none of the fish were attracted to it. Has Tetra before and they gobbled that up. Going back to Tetra. Let's see if the birds will eat what the fish won't.
