The media could not be loaded.

As you can see in the video, the scales count down even as nothing is added or removed. Not only that, but they start from about half the weight of the actual item. Completely useless.

I also emailed the company 5 days ago about this to the email address on their "15-year guarantee" leaflet and have heard nothing.

These scales are rubbish! Completely inaccurate and temperamental. As you can see in the video, not only was the weight of the tangerine completely off, it kept changing to completely random numbers every time. It also didn't come with the blue plastic sheet, which leads me to believe that it was previously used. Sent it back the same day it was delivered.

The mechanical scales I had were not so accurate so I thought I’d give this a go. It is quite small and easy to stow when not in use. Quality seems good for the price. Seems to gain or lose one or two grams every time I put something on or take it off but it is a big improvement over mechanical.

Good size, dead easy to use and what I really like is that the tare feature operates immediately the scale is switched on. To explain further, I weigh out my porridge in the mornings and after popping the scale onto the kitchen counter, I put my porridge bowl on the scale and tap the on button. It automatically tares the bowl! Then I can add the porridge up to the weight I want. Such a fantastic feature.

These scales suit my purchase. I am a juicer and healthy eater. I use them to calculate macros for my juices and to keep control of portion sizes for meals.

I don't get much fluctuation on readings like some people claim. Maybe because it's a recent purchase my item is updated since some bad reviews.

I picked these over others as it was an amazon brand and discounted.

I've not been disappointed.

I like the display lighting up. The size is good and the choice of measures is good to.

I've had these for a couple of months now. I track via my fitness pal and use these scales all day every day to weigh literally everything I eat. I don't have any issues with the scales. I have a high sided bowl so I can still see the display whilst adding on items to weigh. Sometimes it 'thinks about it' for a couple of seconds and then levels out. No issues like some seem to have with numbers randomly jumping up and down. I only saw this when the scales accidentally pressed against another object on the side. Like the idea of the 2 aaa batteries, my previous scales button batteries needed constant replacing, not these. Easy to wipe clean

Flimsy, Inaccurate & Liable to Break

I bought this set of scales, and within 5 weeks, the On/Tare button had broken, rendering them unusable.

I contacted the seller, who was very quick at providing a replacement and very easy to deal with.

However, the replacement lasted about 6 weeks. When the cheap batteries it came with ran out, I replaced the batteries with new Duracell ones, and it wouldn't switch on. I then tried 3 sets of different brand new batteries, and none of them will switch back on (and, yes, I'm putting them in the correct way around).

I've come to the conclusion that they're just very cheaply and poorly constructed and I've bought a replacement from a well known brand. Whilst the warranty is long and the seller I bought from made it easy to invoke the warranty, having to replace them monthly seems a ridiculous waste of electronic parts.

The weight measured also keeps moving, so I don't think they can possibly be particularly accurate.

If you're going to use this for really precise measurements, you might want to spend a little more and get a better one, but for regular kitchen/recipe following use it should work great. When I use to measure cat food, for example, say for this meal I wanna give my cat 15g of food but I might end up giving her 10 or 20. Depending on where you place your container on the scale, the weight can vary from 1 up to 5 grams, as far as I noticed. It does annoy me a bit sometimes (like, I might be feeding her around 60g or 30g a day instead of 45g, it makes a difference in this case! but only if I'm being extreme, most likely in the end of the day she's getting around 40-50g of food anyway) but then again this scale does work mostly fine and it is a good value for money. In a normal recipe, it hardly matters if you use 300g of flour or 295g so...).
It's simple to use and small enough so that you can easily store or leave it on your counter without it being an eye sore or taking too much space.
