1) What's the difference between Elvie Pump and Elvie Stride? Elvie Pump is our most advanced breast pump. It provides Elvie's most sophisticated in-bra smart pumping technology. It's smaller, quieter and smarter than Elvie Stride. Being totally tube free, Elvie Pump is the option for ultimate discretion. It offers mums game-changing freedom to move and feel confident pumping anywhere.Elvie Stride offers mums discreet pumping, hands-free movement and smart app features. It also has hospital grade performance. Unlike Elvie Pump, there is a small Hub which sits outside of the bra. This can be clipped to a belt or clothing to keep your hands and body free to move.

2) Can i return my Elvie Pump if I change my mind? Elvie Pump is an intimate product. For hygiene and safety reasons, it can only be used by one person.

This means that once the tamper seal is broken, you will not be able to return it to us or to a retailer unless it is faulty. For your peace of mind, the Hub (pump mechanism) has a two year cover and the washable components have a 90 day one. For full details visit elvie.com. 3) What Breast Shield sizes are available and how will I know if they'll fit? Elvie Pump comes with a 24mm and 28mm Breast Shield, a pack of two 21mm Breast Shields is also available to purchase. Our Breast Shields are sized based on the width of the base of your nipple. You can measure the width of the base of your nipple with a ruler. The size of your nipple may change over the course of your breastfeeding journey, so please keep the other Breast Shields that are included in the box in case you need them at a later date. The Breast Shield sizes are as follows:

Base of nipple width between approximately 16mm and 18mm = 21mm breast shield, between approximately 18mm and 21mm = 24mm breast shield, between approximately 21mm and 25mm = 28mm breast shield

4) How and when do I clean and sterilize Elvie Pump? Elvie requires to be cleaned after each use and a daily sterilization. Please follow the instructions on the App or on Elvie's support pages.

Purchased this as a Christmas present for my partner who has decided to breastfeed. she had tried a manual pump and electric ones and issues with both.

the Electric-type's before the Elvie was very loud and cumbersome so when we had seen these we were very excited to give them a try.

the pump is almost silent when in use and is very small and easy to carry around with you.

Simply charges with a standard Micro USB cable and you can get around 4 to 5 uses out of one charge from our experience.

It is easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning and they even send you a spare Valve, Spout and clip-on bottle (with lids)

they are quite expensive and we, unfortunately, could not stretch to purchasing two of them, but they are very good quality and I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in expressing on the go.

my one and only gripe is that once turned on we can't seem to find a way to turn of the white LED that comes on when in use, it fits discreetly into my partner's Bra and was it not for the LED you wouldn't even be able to tell she was expressing milk at all.

Been using for a few weeks. Only managed to get 20-30ml in a session initially, and now no milk at all (got WAY more in hospital using Medela Symphony in the first few days). Been told fault due to warping of the breast shields caused by microwave sterilizing (see attached photo from customer services), we place parts in Medela Quick Clean Bags to sterilize. Tried to request a refund now as supply has completely dried up, but Elvie would only replace faulty parts, though it is of no use now and £249 down the drain.

AVOID this product and just rent the Medela Symphony Double Hospital Pump for £47 p/month (you can google a discount code to get £11 off p/month), rather than buy this - which seems very hit and miss according to reviews.

@Elvie: please update all your materials (in-pack and online instructions to make it clear for future shoppers) that microwave sterilizing is not advised and would cause damage.
