Not had an issue in the past, but my most recent one melted completely

I’ve ordered a few of these over the past couple of years. For such a small fan, it’s incredibly powerful and effective, hence why I’ve ordered it time and again. With the recent hot spell, I ordered another one so that my partner and I had one each. However, I used it once and it was fine, then left it on charge as I normally would (at most for half an hour) and it has COMPLETELY melted. The charging wire is melted into it and the on/off button is no longer a button. I’m so relieved to have caught it (I smelt it burning before I saw it), as who knows what could have happened. Clearly this is a defective one and I’ve requested a refund. I don’t think it would put me off ordering another one in the future, but I would strongly recommend you to be careful.
