I bought this because our previous changing mat was falling apart after ten months of constant use. This mat is comparatively thinner, both in terms of thickness (how cushiony it feels) and how wide it is for my baby to lie on (my fault for not checking the measurements - I didn’t realise it might be an issue).
We’ve stacked it on top of the old mat, so I’m not so worried about the cushioning, and it’s still plenty big enough to fit a 10 month old on - for the low price it is good enough. And hey, it is waterproof and wipeable which is really a key concern with a nappy changing mat! But I don’t expect it to last for ages and I won’t be buying this particular mat again, I’ll spend those few extra ££s.
