There's nowt wrong with these batteries, but the packaging is a nightmare. Blister packs are bad enough, but these cells come in a two-layer blister pack that requires safe-breaking tools to get apart. And as if that wasn't enough, even then they have a 'do not swallow' sticker that's hard to remove. Ok, it's important to keep this sort of thing away from small children, but they wouldn't be able to read or understand the sticker anyway. But an elderly adult attacking the packaging with a kitchen knife (as I did) could easily slip and sever an artery. Think again, Duracell, please.

On opening the batteries did not have enough power to operate the device.
When measured it barely registered above 1.5V (see pic of Multimeter).
So please be carful ordering batteries from this supplier. Even if they did work they would not last long.
Best before on pack is 2023.

Excellent cells, very tough packaging needs strong sharp scissors

2025 size Duracell lithium coin cells, two in a blister pack, each extremely well protected by its own protective peel-off label and hermetic enclosure within two layers of plastic welded to each other and the backing card. The packet I received from Nanaki arrived almost next day and contained genuine Duracells with a use-by date of 2026, ie eight years of shelf life. So far, so good...

These replace the Panasonic originals that usually last for about eighteen months of daily use in the car key fob. I'll report back to compare how long a Duracell lasts in service when the cell needs to be replaced again, hopefully longer.

However, be warned, ordinary strong adult fingers are inadequate for safely opening the packaging; good strong sharp scissors are essential to be able to gain access to either cell, just be careful not to short it out with the blades - the results could be spectacularly unsafe.

Lasted less then a week. Guess the old adage of if it's good to be true, I was seduced by the cheap price, in the end I went to boots and bought another battery for 3 times the price charged here. Literally a case of buyer beware.

I purchased these batteries, specifically to revive, some old PC's, I had lying around.

Both my desktops, had issues, related to a flat CMOS battery, such as the motherboards inability to remember boot order, keep time. and other computer related issues.

I installed the batteries, in both desktops, problem solved! Both desktops booted up, with a new shiny 'Button cell Battery'.

They cells can last, anything from 2,5 and up to 10 years, just depends on how long the PC is plugged in, the longer the PC is energized, the longer the charge holds.

Word of caution, when handling the cell batteries, hold them by the edge, do not hold them, so that your finger and thumb, are on the positive, and the negative, as this may result in shorting out the battery, and reducing its lifespan.

To summarize: Pros: i) Very good value for money
ii) Many other usages, for the batteries.

Cons: i) None, that I have had to deal with.

Conclusion: A great buy, being a Duracell branded battery, which is a trusted brand, at a very affordable price.

Replacement battery for a Renault 'Plip' key

The remote 'plip' key for my sister's Renault stopped working. As such, I replaced the battery and all is now fully restored to normal. As she could never remember changing it, I replaced the battery in her spare key too.
Duracell batteries need no introduction from me. They are reliable and outlast their rivals.
These were an excellent buy when compared with high street stores - and even better value than rip-off Renault dealer prices!
My only gripe is the new "baby safe" packaging which is diabolical and almost impossible to open. What happened to "frustration free"???

Ordered via a third party Amazon seller rather than Amazon direct so took a few days to arrive which was fine.

I always tend to buy Duracell batteries as they do seem to outlast equivalent items and wasn't too concerned that these might have short date on them as mentioned in a couple of reviews as they'd be used in some bathroom scales. However when they arrived they had an expiry date of 2025, absolutely brilliant and amazing value for money.

Great brand, quality, lifespan and price - what more could you ask for?

Lasted just a year in a car remote - This screams 'fake' to me.

I bought two of these to use in a car remote. The first one has lasted just over a year which makes me think that these aren't genuine Duracell batteries. I've never had to change a battery in a car remote before, even when I've had the car for over ten years so it's very surprising that this has gone flat in just one year.

I may be wrong but my feelings are that these are fakes.
