The cover arrived quickly and is made of good quality material that feels and looks like it will give great cover for a long time. Obviously its new so we can't say for sure, but the material is thick and has a good weight to it. The straps attached allow us to secure the cover to prevent it flapping about or blowing off in the weather. The cover comes in its own zipped pouch that you could use to store the cover when its not in use, or use the pouch to store other items, which is what we have done as it is a handy size. The material seems to be weatherproof and I think it will offer good protection. We are very happy with the purchase.
A lot of the other reviews seem to be about a wedding cake topper which we found confusing but we bought the hanging chair cover.

Some fundamental design issues, but adapted to work

Bought to cover a B&M hanging chair. Fitted as intended the first day only to blow over at night! Even forgiving that, in normal usage the design is challenged: It's awkward to put the clips around the base ring, and the 'waist' strap buckle is useless.

I now secure it only to the base of the hanging arm, using the strap to wrap around the bottom of the 'skirt', tying it with a bow and preventing the wind getting in. The chair base is also now staked through the patio for peace of mind! I feel like there is a much better design to be had...

I’ve had a Dokon cover for my garden sofas for a while, which has lasted better than ones much more expensive, so thought I’d try this for my QVC hanging chair as theirs was also very expensive. It fits over the high metal arch really well & the straps for the feet are sturdy. I leave these on & just slide it down over the chair if I just pop out for a short time. The material seems of good quality & the zip seems ok. It’s withstood strong winds & rain so far & hasn’t deteriorated in the sun at all. I feel it’s worth paying a bit more for something substantial, especially when it’s protecting expensive garden items. So far I’m very pleased & happily recommend this cover.

I was a bit unsure about buying this online, as similar products seemed to suffer from dreadful reviews when used in English 2021 spring weather, but this looked a bit better and - as it covers down to the ground and not just the 'egg' it looked to have more chance of staying on in higher winds. Not tested in anger yet, but initial impressions are that the cover is of decent thickness material, which looks slightly cross-laminated inside, so I am hoping it will last well. About to order a second one.

Read other reviews about the benefits of being able to tie the cover down as others had their cheaper cover blow off in the wind. Seemed exactly what I wanted.

Put it on my brand new swing this morning as it looked like it was going to rain. During installation I noticed a hole which I patched with needle and cotton, I then went out shopping. This afternoon it was a bit breezy, when I got home I found that the whole swing had blown over, the cover had a hole in it from where it contacted the ground and the paint on the base of the swing was damaged from it moving around whilst on its side, seems like the cover acted like a big sail pulling the swing over.

It seems as though there are a few choices, leave the swing open to the elements, put a cheaper cover on which might blow away or put a more expensive cover on which will cause the swing to blow over (causing damage).

Two stars because of; quality control (hole in the material of a brand new cover) and durability (hole in cover due to it contacting the floor).
