Great basketball hoop for garden, although within 5 months the net just ripped through all the way round - perished and we’ve not had extremes of weather yet.. disappointed young lad who had bought it with his birthday money. Supposedly has a 2 year warranty so will be trying to contact seller or Amazon..

Base has leak ; Hoop won't fit in the frame

Very poor unprofessional assembly parts. The holes in the hoop and frame does not align. Had to cut the frame to make the holes in the hoop align with the holes in the frame.

Also the base has leak when filled in water. Means only half of the base can be filled with water making it less stable/strong. Not worth the money at all

Had no issue assembling the frame despite the fairly poor “standard factory instructions”.
The base however it says use water or sand. I decided to use sand as I thought water would leak or turn to ice in winter and expand and crack base.
The entry hole is no bigger than a 10p piece and sand unless bone dry clumps and so it is a painfully slow process to fill. I did have some 10mm pea gravel so switched to that but again had to feed slowly.
It may have taken an hour but do think this is better than water in the long run but had to mark down for this reason.

Using the net with my 9 year old the height adjustments are quick but the backboard gives a tinny artificial sound when hit against but not end of the world.
What is annoying is that when you score a basket the ball drops through and 9 times out of 10 hits the protruding base and bounces off in whatever direction it chooses rather than just on the ground below which is also annoying.

Ok, it works.. but poor quality because after a week of use a leak appeared in the plastic base which means it can only hold half the water intended. Fortunately that’s still enough to hold it fairly firmly in place to use it, but not what you want really. Also the actual back board isn’t completely straight but by turning the entire unit to one side slightly it makes no difference. Kids don’t know any better, but obviously because of these issues I wouldn’t recommend.

Super easy to assemble... took less than 20 minutes including filling base with water .. this is perfect for younger players my sons are 7 and have used it every day . I'd say this would be perfectly suitable for children aged 5 -11 .. the height is adjustable.. but it is not a full size adult net
