It's bright and easy to fit

The media could not be loaded.

Although it has a plastic body it feels solid although the rubber seal between the body and the head did need to be carefully pushed back into place on mine.
both lights fit tightly into the holders and the quick release fastenings hook around the bike posts solidly although they can be a little fiddly.
The front light has 4 modes
Full power
Half power
Slow flash
and Pulse.(this is a double flash then a long break then double flash again)
With all modes the light has quite a wide spread beyond the central beam.
The full power would be suitable for in town cycling or country roads as long as you're not travelling at high speed and you could even use it off road and not travelling fast. half power would still let every one see where you are.
Both flashing modes are full power but slow enough not to dazzle oncoming drivers.
The rear light has 4 modes as well and all are bright enough for any use.
The lights charge by usb and come with 2 cables.

I bought 2 sets of these as was blown away by the quality for the price.

We used them a lot and been great, then the front light would only last around 1 to 2 hrs on flashing mode, when this is supposed to last a lot longer. I charged it again and same again, had it on the flashing and this time lasted just 40mins - 1hr at the most and the red light came on. We have returned the order.

On the other set we had, we had a problem then with the RED rear light, this would just cut off on flashing mode after just 2hrs use.

I have given it 3 stars as I do believe when working, this is a quality product and 100% worth the purchase as many people here have had good luck and got a great set.

We cycle 5 times a week as a family, so need something more robust and reliable - so returned these.

Bought as a cheap set of lights along with another rear light.
To be honest these are way better than expected. The rear light is bright, fits in seconds and has 4 settings.
The front light is great, as good as much more expensive lights and it's its low power setting is good enough on poorly lit roads. On high power its excellent. I've set it carefully as it will dazzle oncoming cars if you don't and great on the unlit lanes near me.
Not run the battery down yet, but seems to last well so far.

I previously had a Shenkey but could not find it again, so opted for this. It had a mechanical switch which I wanted, as I will install on mountain bike helmet, so I like the reassuring click of a mechanical switch. It is lighter than the Shenkey, quite a tubular profile. This does mean it hangs out in front of the mount quite a bit, but so far has not shifted. The beam is bright, a slightly off white cast, unlike the brilliant blue cast of the Shenkey. It is Not enough to make any difference on the trail. What is an improvement is the strobe setting. The Shenkey light thinks its at a 90s rave and should come with an epilepsy warning! This light has two strobe settings, both are sensible.
Like majority of these lights, the bar mount is an elastic band. From previous experience, these are NOT secure enough for a MTB tail ride, they will quickly be rattled off target. However with a bit of a struggle, it was possible to fix it to my helmet.
The bonus free rear light is fantastic for commuting or riding to the trails.
I would highly recommend this for a helmet light, and at this price, I would consider buying another for the bar, although I would have to find a way to bodge a more secure bar fitting.
For a commuter or casual canal path rider, this is a bargain.
For the mtb rider, it is still a bargain, but preferably as a helmet light, not bar mounted.

I bought these lights for my commute home from work . . .

After 11pm a few miles of cycling and some very badly lit or dark side streets and one stretch through an industrial estate. A badly pot holed gravel-ly ride, very dark with bushes sticking out and the odd guard dog. It's a rough ride.

What do we get?
- Lights - rechargeable. Front and back with quick fit rubber straps
- Two USB chager cables
- Short information booklet regarding useage times and light modes

I don't know about you but as a well seasoned biker (53 now 👀) I've bought loads of lights over the last 30 odd years and nearly all of these modern day LED ones tell fibs about their power/brightness when quoted in Lumens!

when you're seeing 1000 Lumens for like twenty quid - it's just not happening.

These don't! 👍🏼

The front light at 300 Lumens is spot on and illuminates those 6 inch deep potholes and crumbling speedbumps on my way home through the dark and lonely industrial estate.

No more punctures and buckled front wheels on my a bit pricey fixie!

There are several light modes and they all work very well from still to epic flashing mode!

The back light again at 70 Lumens is a little beacon of light shining out from my back end warning wagons and buses to keep their distance but you'll always get the odd joker who likes to 'buzz' you by flying past at 60mph in a 40ft trailer. Nice 👎🏽

But we ride on!💪🏽

The battery life seems to be good and I've not recharged them yet after a few weeks so that's gotta be good!

I have been caught in a few torrential downpours so their IP rating seems to be living upto expectation. They're still going and no fogging up inside the lens bit!

Yup. These are turning out to be the real deal folks and I will update this review if anything changes worth telling!

Just a quick one on that guard dog . . . A German Shepherd and he's a big boy at that! Not to be messed with. I've been going past this guy for a long long time. 15 years ago he'd run the length of the yard to see me off - teeth bared and barking like mad with his huge chain clanging along the metal fence like an enthusiastic church bell ringer. It was some noise that!

I would cycle like a bolt of lightening to get past him just incase there was a gap under the fence and I'd get the run on him.

Nowadays he just sits quietly and stares at me as I ride slowly past. Sometimes I stop and give him a few biscuits through the fence out of my hand as I give him a scratch and say goodbye then carry on my way.

I think we've both slowed down over the years.
