This is my first drone and I am blown away by it's speed manoeuvrability and the stability of the video and still images - I wish I had bought one years ago.

The kit gives you everything you need to get started immediately and was every easy to set up and make the first flight. The only thing missing, is a Micro SD card for onboard memory storage for the videos and images - without this you are limited to what you can store on your phone remotely, so I would highly recommend ordering one at the same time. The maximum size for this drone is 256Gb and make sure you buy a high speed card to capture the UHD video.

I've only flown so far in very boring location, to test the drone and learn flying skills, but looking forwrad to going somewhere more interesting.

If you are in the UK, it is also very important you register as a drone operator, as you need to mark this on your drone. I would also suggest completing the online exam - which is voluntary for this drone weight, but very worthwhile to understand the safety rules for drone flying, especially near people and buildings.

My first ever drone. I was pretty nervous, but had watched a few videos before starting. But actually it was easy. Basically, the drone hovers in a fixed position, allowing to be move up down, forward, back and sideways with the joysticks. It never feels out of control. Also,I like the 'quickshot' modes, that run an automated flight sequence. I have many skills to acquire to become more professional, but the good news is that I can acceptable footage from the off without crashing! I would have liked a more up-spec camera, but what is there is pretty OK, and great for the price. I should add that the footage I posted here is in auto HD at 25fps, so 2.7K footage with pro mode settings should look better.

What a waste of time and effort
After reading all the great reviews I chose the this drone but to my dismay wasn't compatible with my Samsung android S21 and S22 phones. Thus is a huge problem which I later found out for most android users wheee the controller just wants to charge the phone than receive data. Even changing the settings in the phone through developer mode and debug USB mode made no difference, a common problem that DJI blame android for yet works with android on other non DJI drones. I didn't buy a drone I bought a heavy battery charger paper weight and so sent it back with a full refund from Amazon, thank you Amazon.

So glad to have decided to get this drone just before the holidays. Because it's DJI not only is it the camera quality I can trust, but also the software and flight ability. So confident in knowing that if it flies too far away from me and loses connection it will automatically, and safely head back to where it took off and land again. Meaning I never have to worry about losing it. Would recommend getting the 'Fly More Combo' if you're going to get this. Flight time anxiety would definitely have been a thing with the amount of times I wanted to get it into the air throughout the day, and a single battery would not have been enough for me.

I have a Mavic pro but with all the over 250 gram flying restrictions, it is hard to find a legal place to fly and that's a shame as the Mavic pro is brilliant. So...I bought the mini SE and it too is brilliant, it hasn't got the sensors that the Mavic has and also the Haslebad camera but the 2.7 camera still takes awesome video, wonderfully stable to fly and so much fun to fly, make sure you buy the "fly more" package.

My first foray into the area of drones and studied all the options balanced with my own requirements which were mainly from a photographic perspective. Lots to take in before taking the plunge. Some excellent reviews on the Mini 2 SE combined with ease of use, camera and of course price.
Like everything else well worth watching some of the information on You Tube before taking to the air. This included the Return to Home button I pressed and it immediately started to ascend rapidly much to my horror. Subsequently discovered it automatically ascends to 100 metres before it starts to return to take off point! This is a preset you can change but helps the drone avoid objects.
Like everything else, a few after sales extras help life ie spare battery, charger unit, undercarriage legs, protective case and hi-vis decals. The drone is hard to see below the skyline being so small.
All in all, a great entry level plus drone.

Very good purchase. I am suprised by the camera and drone quality and how many functions it has! a must have, you really should get it. it is no ordinary drone! don't see why it is 2.7 k should be 4k. beeps when nearly out of power; so wind resistant！ In the fly more combo there is of course the drone itself, the remote controller, 2 charging cables, 2 way charging hub, 3 instructions and spare propellers and controll sticks. fly more combo is by far better than normal version. much better quality than expected. very cheap for its quality, a must have. perfect for both begginers and pros. I am having so much fun with it! thanks dji and thanks amazon for delivering so quickly. cant say any more overall BRILLIANT! Only wish it had a smart controller. (another great choice if you can afford it is the dji air 2s.)

Basic instructions from the app will have drone flying in no time. With a little practice and not being to ambitious it is easy to take great photos and videos. The drone responds well to control input even at a good distance from the controller. Stability is good and works of strong winds and the live feed is clear and has very little lag. The only drawback is the drone is small and had to see at distance. They say it will operate up to 4 km but that would be with ideal conditions. I've flown it to 150m Alt and 750m distance without any problems.
