Good non plastic poo bags

These feel quite different to normal poo bags. You can tell they’re made of starch - if you’ve ever had a magazine come in a potato starch wrapper the feel is like that but much thicker. I was worried they’d disintegrate once they held a poo but I can confirm you can fill them with plenty of poop and they hold fast. I haven’t had one rip or break yet.

I did find them a bit hard to tear off the roll at first. I was stood in the dark with my torch on the bag, trying and failing to find where to separate them. You have to pull quite hard. But there’s definitely a knack to it and I’m now wondering why I had trouble at the start.

When I finished the first roll I was pleased to see they have a cardboard inner. The poo bags of the future, I think. I shall buy these again.

Poor quality, difficult to tear from the roll

Not too happy with these bags. They're really difficult to tear off the roll, making it a time consuming job that's especially difficult with gloves on in winter. Fiddly to open too. Many of them have split down the sides or ripped with large holes making them unusable, meaning that you actually get far fewer bags than advertised. I usually buy the MyAlpha Pet bags, which are far superior in quality and ease of use (and are also 100% cornstarch), but sadly these have become unavailable recently and seem to be at a ridiculously inflated price when they are, so I am looking for alternatives. I don't think I'll be using this brand again. They're better than nothing of course and they are cornstarch, which is the only true environmentally-friendly poo bag, but they're just so frustrating to use that for me, they aren't worth the stress.

Excellent poo bags. Sounds strange to say. Ran out of my council supplied bags and they don't seem to want to supply them for free anymore. Did have a try using the standard compost bags they supply for food waste but could always smell poo on your fingers.. Yuck. These bags are very good. As you can see from the pictures they are a very good size.. I only have chiuhahahs so small poops from them but still need a decent size bag. Found out I only had 2 left so quick amazon search these popped up. Arrived next day as always. Excellent box to keep them stored in. Rolls neatly packed. Bags separated fine aswell. First walk gave them a test perfect job. No smell leakage.

I was ideally wanting tie handle bags but in fact these are actually much better just pick up poop give the back a twist and tie in a knot. Will be buying more in future

We have 3 dogs - one elkhound and 2 x terriers and need good quality poo bags. We get through a LOT and these are an excellent price much cheaper than my local pet shop... Love any brand which is biodegradable...please DONT use plastic poo bags :( these are lovely quality - not too thin- as you can see from photo my hands inside you can just see it so wont tear easily and you can still ‘feel’ what you need too!! ....slightly scented ( nice touch!) and a decent length!!! Nothing worse than hands in a bag trying to pick up poo in grass and muck going everywhere ! These will protect your whole hand / wrist...give a decent space to tie them too. Very happy.

Good value unscented compostable bags

These feel exactly the same as the compostable bags we use for our food scrap bin - soft and slippery and quite different to the poo bags I had before. The first time I used one, I could have sworn there was a hole in the bag as the 'touch' is much more real feeling somehow, but luckily there wasn't! They are a good size and decent thickness, however I find they're slightly more prone to tears (fortunately not during poop scooping but when pulling one off the roll) so need to be handled a little more carefully. Towards the end of the roll they become a little more tricky to open up (presumably as they're more compressed) so I open one up ready to use before leaving the house. I like that these have no scent too. Great value overall and so pleased these bags are actually 100% compostable, I will be buying these again next time.

Having purchased the moss green coloured bags in Aug 2019, I ordered again in November 2020.
The latter bags where a lighter, slightly shinier blue-green colour.
Unfortunately, these new ones are impossible to open the bags easily.
It required two hands, and is nothing like the previous product.
They both look to be made by Cycluck, so I don't think they are knock-off. However, they do not seem to be for sale on Amazon any more!!
I am very disappointed! Time to try another manufacturer

Mostly as described, but not consistent in quality

We got these after testing out with an initial 100. These are mostly as described:
- they do not easily break (they mostly are able to hold twigs that can be picked up as well)
- they rarely tear incorrectly, so you can use almost all the bags they provide. We have had roughly 2 incorrect tears from ~200 bags.
- they have a mild scent. I don't care for scents on bags, but I'm mentioning it for those that do. It's not overpowering, but it will not mask the smell of the contents inside the bag until a few minutes after closing.

My main issue with the bags is that they do not always open easily. The quality control used for the production seems inadequate as some bags are the easiest to open I've had, and some are basically stuck together at the top. I've also noticed that the ones that are stuck together have a different texture. All bags on a roll will either open perfectly or take a couple of minutes per bag to pry open.

However, I will continue to repurchase as roughly 25% of the bags in this batch are hard to open, where my last batch was perfect.

These poop bags are a decent size, & feel pretty robust, so there’s hopefully no chance of accidentally putting your finger through them when full, which I don’t even want to think about! 😬

On their own, the bags smell quite pleasant, but unfortunately the scent definitely wasn’t strong enough to even come remotely close to masking the stench of my puppies’ deposits, which was a shame, as otherwise, the bags seem really good, & fairly reasonably priced.

I’d have preferred bags with handles, as they’re easier to detach from the roll, & simpler to tie after use, but other than that, & the weak fragrance, I’m generally satisfied with the quality, quantity, & price, & would probably purchase again, as being biodegradable is definitely a positive selling point for the environmentally responsible dog owner.

Good overall poop collection

It’s a bag. For poop. You need two things in a bag for poop: for it to keep your hands clean, and for it to not cost the earth.

I have two little angels who like to double dump, sometimes triple dump, on their two walks per day. I have therefore mastered the art of multiple dump collection with just one bag - I know, big life skill achieved. In order to be able to collect multiple dumps, you need a fairly sizeable and easy to manoeuvre bag. Not having handles on these bags makes this harder as you have nothing to peel back for the second, or even third, attempt, but the cornstarch material is sturdy enough (although not the most study I’ve found on the market) to make it reasonably practical.

As far as I can see these bags are the best combo of medium-good sturdiness at a Decent price - I don’t think I could manage a quadruple collection in them but I can continue to dream.

They’re not scented - thankfully. The only
Thing worse than doggodump? Artificially flowery Fragranced Doggodump.

I bought these biodegradable bags for my cat and must say that they are good quality bags.

First of all my cat’s name is Happy and obviously he is extremely happy to have them as they are made of corn starch and are eco friendly. They are big and the fresh scent of the product is an excellent addition.
They are fantastic quality, leak and waterproof.

Highly recommend!
