Very comprehensive set, made of strong steel. Excellent case, sturdy, beautifully trimmed and very attractive, and well packaged to survive delivery in one piece. For the price I really cannot fault this at all - it feels like a genuinely premium product. I have bought a couple of similar sets over the years, and on both occasions the scissors were a let-down. These, and the other items, are of very high quality. I will be buying a few of these sets for what I am sure will be very welcome Christmas gifts.
There are a number of other reviews here citing poor quality of manufacture and sharpness of blades. I have no idea about whether the manufacturers have improved their quality control of late. However, since I began shopping online, I have learnt to test anything I buy thoroughly, immediately upon delivery. All the items I received in this set work well and seem to be very solid and sturdy. If time proves otherwise then I will update this review. For now, I think this is excellent quality kit for a surprisingly low price.
