I purchased this to clean a Biorb Tube 30 aquarium. It’s a cylindrical tank, that isn’t particularly big, so if you stick your entire arm in there to wipe away algae, you can force water over the side of the tank if you’re not careful! I needed to tool I could use to clean algae from a biorb without causing water displacement, that’s able to clean algae from this tanks unusual shape (this tank is curved all round). This algae scrubber is convex in shape so is ideal for curved sides and you can rotate the attachment 360 degrees, so it’s perfect for bow fronted/cylindrical aquariums.

Fantastic multi-tool. The quality of each attachment is really good, especially the larger net. I have an 8ft x 2ft x 2ft marine aquarium (about 900 litres with sump) and the cleaning pad was able to reach the back panel without a problem.

The algae scraper - although not a sharp blade - cleaned up another tank that I had very well. Cleared off the calcium deposits on the glass fairly easily.

The reason for taking a star away was that the tool is very flimsy at full length. You wouldn't want to put too much strength behind it. Also, my particular item did not stay at full length for long as the individual sections did not stick in their place. The handle section slid into the middle section as they didn't lock (although this did improve the strength problem it was just shorter!).

The seller was very helpful and despite me explaining my previous point to them, they were very keen to publish my review to help others. Very considerate seller.

Overall, perfect tool for what I needed, great price for what you get.

The only downsides to this are the lack of instructions and that it's too long. But the length isn't an issue because now I have 2 multitools that are perfect rather than 1.
The lack of instructions isn't an issue either as the company follows up in email form with them. I didn't need them, the device is intuitive if you take a hot second to look at it. You get 3 poles, one of which has screw on bits. Simply unscrew them, wiggle the other poles into each end, slide the caps back on and screw tight. Chuck on the black ridged handle on one side and whichever tool you need on the other, simple. The tools come in 2 varieties. One has lipped attachments which are held by a blue triangular bit and the other set has holes into which you simple slide the main pole. As the main pole is too long, I kept it as 3 pieces, got rid of the middle and use one pole with one set of tools and the other with the rest. It's totally perfect for my 55L tank.
The tools are all sturdy and well made and I've had no issue with them slipping off.
If you have an acrylic tank you may want to avoid using the metal scraper and go lightly with the scrubber. Personally I would have preferred a rubber scrubber head as metal can even ding up glass in clumsy hands.

I love this as the size is perfect for my big tank, and the attachments are great and easy to swap over.

The only negative point I have is the way they attach together could be better, as I thought you could adjust the size from large to small easily, and you can sort of, but when unscrewing each part to adjust the size you have to be careful not to pull it out too far otherwise the pieces separate.

I have recently brought a 54L tank and needed easy to use cleaning tools to help clean my tank. Item arrived in its box without Amazon packaging, upon opening the item I noticed the algae scraper was snapped in half which would scratch the glass if used. The nets are average whilst the rake seems pretty pointless due to its practicality. Another thing to mention would be that the poles that come with it are quite poor quality.
