Customer reviews
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
It does tablety things.
Battery life is fair to average. etc
There are plenty of hardware device reviews out there its an average tablet.
However the main issue is the woeful support it has for its own apps .
And by that I mean the Audible app. (The reason this device was bought for)
You would think that it being an amazon device it would be compatible with an Amazon App.?
How wrong you could be.
The current iteration of the Audible App states this device is not compatible (in the store) .
Then why is it forcibly downloaded onto the devices in question ?
This can only be defined as Incompetence. ie.
The programmers inability to write stable code.
The management team who allegedly 'supervise' the writing of the code
The QA team who 'checked' the code
The deployment team who then upgraded devices with known faulty code
And finally the managers of the deployment team who authorised the update.
So if you want to run amazon apps on your amazon device - buyer beware & look elsewhere

This for me renders it next to useless except as a kindle reader which is not how I used the old one. Extremely disappointed that I wasted £50 on what used to be a reasonable product
But this tablet is useless, it is as flaky as the app, and also as flaky as the Amazon Fire TV stick in two TV,s that keeps crashing each time we make an Alexa announcement.
It's too late to send it back, and eventually we may install the also as useless wired doorbells that came with two alexa excho dots, and view the video on this tablet. But that will probably be useless as well, assuming we can ever get a power supply for them which seems to be as rare as rocking horse 'uselessness'...
