Amazing Help for Cracked Paw Pads

This product is quite simply, amazing. Our young Rottie developed incredibly cracked paws which in turn he would chew at and make worse, resulting in a never ending circle of vet visits, salt water bathing, allergy testing, antibiotics etc etc ... he was miserable, my wallet was miserable.... and then I chanced upon this product. I read the glowing reviews and thought, it has got to be worth a try! .... The results are incredible.. truly. Within just a couple of days his paw pads really started to soften and smooth .. the paw butter is easy to apply, easily absorbed, smells great and you soon get into the routine of massaging it in ( I tend to do this when my dog is relaxed and curled up next to me on the sofa, as he then is focused more on sleeping than trying to lick at the butter ... don't worry too much though, as I said, it quickly absorbs into the pad itself ). The key is to keep applying and we do this daily - you don't need to use much - the product is reasonably priced and lasts for quite some time. Hope this review helps someone else who is struggling like we were :)

Smells wonderful, safe for your dog to lick but really works at getting those dry and cracked winter paws back to being soft again. I didn't realise how my dogs paws were affected until I read a post on social media, checked my dogs and was really surprised at the state they were in. Ordered paw wax for protection for going out in the frost and for protection against the road grit and started rubbing this into their paws every day. Paws are looking and feeling much better now and now I am using this, they will never get as bad again. Really easy to use, just get some on your fingers and massage it into their paws. The dogs did lick initially but not excessively and they are used to it now so leave alone.

BUT mostly used for human hands and feet here! best hard skin softener i have ever used and soaks in quickly - not greasy after 10 seconds ... now have it on subscribe & save .... luckily my dog shares happily XD My friends think i have biscuit scented hand cream! Also some other comment mentions it says do not consume on the tub : 1) it does not and 2) great natural ingredients!

Our dog Jake the Jack Russell recently injured his paw somehow and after spending vast quantities at the vets and taking out a second and third mortgage for the purpose we were given one of those ''silly'' yet effective lamp shade style things to stop him chewing and worrying at his paw. This worked, although not practical for all day and night long so we were told to put a bootie covering on his paw. We did this, yet his paw got extremely dry and painful looking. After buying and applying''I Love Pet Head'' the dryness became less as the days went by. The product seems to sooth and moisten his paws, but also stops him from licking them as I don't think he enjoys the taste, which is great as my dog will usually eat anything. It also smell beautiful and is easy to apply. It's well worth a try as I can't fault it; just ask my dog Jake and he'll tell you woof woof.

Pet safe paw balm, smells lovely, apparently tastes good too as whenever I use it on my pooch she tends to lick it off with a look of real satisfaction so she's obviously enjoying oddly?..... But then comes the vomit! It makes her really sick and made her vomit poor girl. Not recommended if your dog likes the taste! Although being pet safe I feel that shouldn't be an issue, therefore recommended? For its smell yes, in general nope. Seems more of a health hazard than a pampering.

My little boy is a bit of a nightmare when it comes to grooming and hates everything, but the scent and texture of this product immediately relaxes him. The butter warms as you come into contact with it, making it rather easy to extract from the tub one-handed - and it loosening up to an almost oil-like consistency really aids the application when you have a tiny dog. Mine is a 2kg pomeranian, so his paws are absolutely tiny, and a thicker, less-oily product could prove problematic to apply.

I generally try and time application so that he will sleep afterwards, or go for a short walk as the smell can be a little too appealing and he'll be licking his paws like their a lollipop. But after a single application any dryness and cracking is entirely eradicated and his paws feel very soft - it's a fantastic product, and I'll be sure to repurchase this every time I need more.

I've been using the pet head oatmeal shampoo for my dog since she was a puppy. She suffers with bad hayfever which means her body is often itchy and red in certain times of year. I got this because my dogs paws are suffering with hayfever and they're now, dry cracked and hurting her. Within ten minutes this made her paws soft to touch and hard rough and sore. I applied this followed by a dog bandage on her bad paw and the next day it's ok. No longer cracked. Thank you very brand ever for dogs. Will never use any thing else.
