I bought these bags for use with my cat litter tray and get through about three a day. They are plenty big enough to hold a big scoop of poo and the surrounding urine soiled litter, so they would easily accommodate even the biggest dog's poo. Yes, there are probably cheaper plastic nappy sacks or dog poo bags you could use, but there are 450 bags in a box which will last ages. If you can afford to keep a pet you can surely afford to buy a box of these eco friendly biodegradeable bags every six months or so.
They don't have a tie handle top but this isn't a problem as they are plenty big enough to twist and tie a knot in. But if you are one of those infuriating dog walkers who pick up your pooch's poo, bag it and then hang it on a tree because you don't want to carry it around, these are not the bags for you!!!
The only reason I've dropped a star is because you have to be very careful peeling back the seal on a new roll to avoid leaving a hole in the bag. I've got it down to a fine art and have had to remove all the seals on the rolls before hubby gets to them and rips them off!
