Very pretty, but when the bulb blows you are in a world of pain. I counted no less than 38(!) questions on this listing asking where to buy replacement bulbs. After much fruitless searching I found the answer. Bobolyn have used such an obscure light fitting (G40 25w E12) that pretty much the only company who will sell you a replacement bulb are...well I never...Bobolyn. For £6.99 for one 25w light bulb that won't last very long! (Search Bobolyn bulb). Very good business model, very expensive lamp to maintain. Cheapest I found were £5.99 (Search Equsupro bulb). Cheapest I found on eBay were £10.
What to do? Get an E12 to E14 adaptor and use 25w E14 bulbs from the pound shop. That worked for me. Or change the light fitting to a G9. (G9 bulbs are 10 for £5!). Apparently Bobolyn shipped some (earlier?) models with a G9 light fitting, which further confuses the issue in the very lengthy and misleading Q&A.
Finally, a cautionary tale for those who still fancy trying a bulb designed for ovens, fairy lights etc. from Dav on the Q&A. "I've bought a total of 7 bulbs recommended from this q&a page - none of them have fit so far. I've also taken the actual bulb to every store in my town that sells bulbs and I still haven't managed to find a replacement". To coin a phrase "Don't do a Dav, get an adapter".
