Blue Diamonds Power Pegs are a highly robust 6mm gauge steel tent awning peg, designed specifically for penetrating hard, stoney ground. Each peg has a safe, durable recyclable plastic head that is loose in order to be fitted by yourself. Each peg is 20 centimeters long and comes complete in a handy storage case this tough case contains 20 pegs in total also is available in an orange or white colourway. These pegs are also available in a pallet of 546 pegs and a shipper box containing 10 individual boxes.

Quality tent pegs or ideal crucifixion nails

Standard pegs that came with the tent always seem to bend after so many uses.

Pros:
Don't seem to bend like the standard ones
Easy to use and to remove.
Haven't bent when hitting rocks hidden in the ground
When one of the kids trips over the guide rope it stays in place and guarantees they fall flat on there face !

Cons:
Larger than needed box to store them in, taken out and put in peg bag to save space.
Kids were not excited enough about my purchase to want to put the tent up one their own !

Don’t buy these pegs see picture. Pegs are bent! 20 in the box 12 are bent to some degree.
These are for hard stoney ground and will just bend even more were I to use them for the purpose they are intended.

These aren't as thick as the ones I usually use and I was surprised to find that they bent when used on a semi hard standing pitch. Plus, the black plastic tops slip down the peg, and they are not the 'screw type', so were more difficult to extract. They did the job given I needed them in a hurry and I got them on Prime, but I wouldn't buy them again, there are better on the market.

Having grown fed up of tent pegs bending in the hard ground or refusing to go more than 2 inches in it was time to invest in something a little more robust. These were great. Suggestion: Do not drive them too far in - leave them so that the plastic end cap can easily turn and be pushed down. Reason being it will make removal so much easier. Recommended to buy.

One plastic cap was missing, came in sturdy carry case. 1st use at Goodwood on hard flinty campsite and workedna treat, throw away your mallet, youll be best served with a propper hammer, I used a claw hammer as the claw aids removal of the pegs afterwards. There was no peg removal tool included

These pegs are perfect for any football coach needing to peg down nets.
This is the first set of pegs I've had which pierce the ground well on very cold days without ending up bent all out of shape. The plastic retainers on the top of the peg are also sturdy so haven't split, cracked or fallen off.
Used through a full North of England winter and still as good as new.
Carry case is also perfect for the job to stop pegs going missing.
I would recommend buying a small rubber mallet to go with these pegs as trying to push in by hand is OK in the summer but painful in the winter.

You simply cannot compare basic pegs that come with tents to these power pegs. Pitching up on hard, stoney ground after a night of frost, these pegs were superb. With some persistence, the pegs went the full distance into the ground. With several days of strong gusts (to the upper limit of the tents rating) these pegs remained anchored into thr ground. I'm impressed.
