Tim Weaver hardback book

Product description

I much enjoyed Tim Weaver 's latest, The Blackbird. It's a fine addition to an excellent seriesObserver

With the David Raker novels,
Tim Weaver has carved out an area of British crime fiction uniquely his own. Unsettling, brilliantly plotted, and satisfyingly complex, these books are unputdownable, and the latest - The Blackbird - is no exception. If you haven't yet met Raker, you're in for a treat -- Mick Herron

I always look forward to a new Raker but The Blackbird blew me away. Brilliantly plotted, deliciously dark and so clever and unpredictable I was left reeling as I turned the last page. I'm already eagerly awaiting Tim Weaver's next. A writer at the top of his game -- Claire Douglas

A brilliant missing persons mystery with plenty of intrigue and a jaw-dropping number of twists and turns. Truly excellent -- B A Paris

Incredibly well-paced, with menacing, clever twists - Raker is back in this stunning read from one of the masters of the genre. Tim Weaver goes from strength to strength and this is his best book yet -- Phoebe Morgan

The impressive Weaver triumphs again with this intricate mysteryDaily Mail

Shocking, gripping, heart-pounding, The Blackbird is unputdownable . . . Bloody brilliant -- Nikki May

Taut and immersive, with all the hallmarks of a true crime novel -- Catherine Steadman

This is the 11th novel by Weaver to feature his widowed sleuth, and the author's casual expertise is firmly in evidenceFinancial Times

A killer concept, and a twisty, addictive tale. Fabulous! -- Gytha Lodge

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly outstanding reading
By Simon Hares SerialTrainer7 Ltd on 27 June 2022
It's so good to have David Raker and Healy back again and this time its a massive story that just doesn't let up. This book really got under my skin, and as much as wanted to race on and get through it, I found myself once again having to slow down in case I missed something.

There are some lovely references to previous books and the story arc continues to develop Healy's story very well too. I love this about Tim's books. By the end of the book I was left wanting more, and no doubt that will be coming. Just not quick enough.

If you have not entered David Raker's world through his voice on earth Tim Weaver then you are missing out on something special.
