There are some lovely references to previous books and the story arc continues to develop Healy's story very well too. I love this about Tim's books. By the end of the book I was left wanting more, and no doubt that will be coming. Just not quick enough.
If you have not entered David Raker's world through his voice on earth Tim Weaver then you are missing out on something special.

If you have not entered David Raker's world through his voice on earth Tim Weaver then you are missing out on something special.

However, I loved this book. It twisted and turned so much I couldn’t turn the pages quick enough and the cliff hanger ending, that has become synonymous with the Raker series, did not disappoint.
As always, I devoured it in 1 sitting and now have a huge book hangover. Worth every single minute.
You did it again Tim…..scene setting, tense, emotional all in spades. What can we expect next for our favourite protagonist?
Can’t wait for the next one.
There was just a lot of information for me to absorb and I was unable to do so.
I will say, what an ending! How is Raker going to get out of this?! Fans of the series will be super excited.
My only disappointment is i read it so quick that i have AGES to wait until the next book.
