The free roam in an open world which feels endless decimates most games in its self.
Not to mention the endless weapon modfications, customizations, Creative humiliation compared to so many others games.
You will encounter Super mutants (big hell bent trolls set on killing everything which is not their own kind) p.s if you hear a big beeping sound run as you do not want to stick around to see what it is.
Then the is "The Deathclaw" big nasty pieces of work (look like dinosaurs) who I have strong suspicion are so angry due to their dental hygiene, I have tried speaking to them about their issues but they always kill me,
The is so many settlements where you can barter, trade and sell items from across the land of what was once our beautiful earth.
Anyway I would love to continue this review but I must get back to the wasteland, see you soon.
I'm going to be busy looking for the previous 3 titles now I guess!
Update: I forgot to mention that at least in my sealed, new copy there was a digital code for the full game "Fallout 3" also, making this a terrific value purchase.
Great game(s) for a tenner in summer of 2017.
Previous to this I have never like role play (RP) games. But this is a cross between role play and FPS (First Person Shooter). in a fully open world context. You can run around in your underwear, dress in various types of combat gear or wander about in a full metal robot suit All sorts of guns and weapons from home made 'pipe guns' to Thompson 'Tommy guns' and Laser weapons
You can spend all your time killing things and people if you want, or create and build. Doing both is good imo, just depends on your mood. This is not like other RP games I have tried, it seems to blend seamlessly and choices with people are a long way apart. It is not like some RP games where you can't get through a door without choosing what colour hair to have... and they gets right on my nerves
It is an awesome, brilliant and very well made game. Any faults have been ironed out long ago. I've had the game for 52 hours and played it for 23 hours.... and not even scratched the surface, this game is obviously vast and very detailed
You can read all the other long and detailed critiques.... but why waste the time when you could be getting irritated by Codsworth?
