Charging in pairs is bad for battery lifespan in the long run. This is because even if you start with the same brand of recharge batteries, there is always some difference in their capacities. When you charge two unequal cells in a pair, the one with lower capacity ends up being over-charged, which further reduces its capacity over time. So your overall battery capacity will deteriorate much faster.

Arrived quickly. Well packaged without unnecessary plastic or excess packaging. Lightweight. Feels a bit cheap and cheerful but it was cheap so not to be unexpected. Instructions say that if the light is green, the charging is working. If the light is red, the charging is not working/is defective. It seems my brand new AAA batteries charge fine, with green light indicator. But my brand new AA batteries all indicate not charging, no matter where I plug them in - all ports report ‘defective’, as indicated by the red lights shown in photos. So the instructions may be incorrect or I may have a faulty charger pack (or possibly faulty batteries?)

Cheap but possibly does the job?

Arrived quickly. Well packaged without unnecessary plastic or excess packaging. Lightweight. Feels a bit cheap and cheerful but it was cheap so not to be unexpected. Instructions say that if the light is green, the charging is working. If the light is red, the charging is not working/is defective. It seems my brand new AAA batteries charge fine, with green light indicator. But my brand new AA batteries all indicate not charging, no matter where I plug them in - all ports report ‘defective’, as indicated by the red lights shown in photos. So the instructions may be incorrect or I may have a faulty charger pack (or possibly faulty batteries?)

A great high quality battery charger. Charged my batteries in 4 hours. Led shows red for charging and green for ready. Purchased this as you can charge just one battery and not two at a time. Can charge AA and AAA. Highly recommended
