Guard Me by BabyDan is a World Innovation in the area of child safety equipment. The new Guard Me is an auto Foldable safety gate which folds back (concertinas) automatically when opened. The gate can be opened by an adult using just one hand and fits doorways from 55-89cm. Cleverly, the fittings can be mounted inside or outside of the door frame depending where you wish to install it. This can be scanned from the gate instructions using a smart phone. Guard Me comes pre-assembled and includes 3 x spare extensions in the box. This allows the gate to be extended up to 89cm. However there is an additional 24cm extension kit available separately which will take it up to a maximum of 113.5cm. Guard Me is made from PVC free plastic and is manufactured in BabyDan’s state of the art factory in Denmark (Not China). The gate is wall mounted and because of this there isn’t a trip bar and when opened folds neatly back against the wall becoming almost invisible.Opening measurements- Fitted inside a door frame: 64,5 – 89 cm ,With Extend-A-Guard up to 113,5 cm, Fitted outside a door frame- 55 – 79,5 cm, With Extend-A-Guard up to 103,5 cm ,Height mounted -72,5 cm.This safety barrier is for domestic and indoor use only,Keep out of direct sunlight,When fitted as instructed, between two clean structurally sound surfaces, this product conforms to EN 1930:2011,If the safety barrier is used at the top of the stairs, it should not be positioned below the top level,If the safety barrier is used at the bottom of the stairs, it should be positioned at the front of the lowest tread possible,Important: Adjust the barrier to ensure it is as tight as possible, so there is no risk of the barrier stretching over the edge of the top stair,When used at top of stairs, please ensure the barrier is always correctly installed,Please note that this product not necessarily prevents accidents to happen.
