Edit: After several months use I thought the temp of the water was a bit higher than the thermometer was saying. I tested it against a couple of other thermometers and it was considerably out; so far that if the temp was reading 35deg the actuyal temp was about 37.5. That's still OK, but if the temp reads 37deg then the actual temp is closer to 40. We've got a new baby and I was pretty unhappy about this. I wrote to the suppliers and they came back saying "As long as the temperature is below the OK blue lines, it is safe for the child.". Not true. Brief, don't rely on this to get a safe temperature for the bath for a baby.
Old review: We had a digital thermometer before it gave up the ghost and I wanted to try something a bit more basic. This does the job really well with an easily read indication of the "OK" temperature for the water. Pro tip; dip the thermometer in the water to fill it up and then it floats nicely in the water. Little one found it way more interesting than the digital version. Cheap and works well; what's not to like.
