The Diamond lustre technology combines super-ionic conditioners with diamond infused ceramic technology to tame frizz as you dry for ultra-smooth hair with lustrous shine. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • Towel dry and detangle hair. • Plug the appliance into a suitable mains socket. • Select the required heat and speed settings. • After use, switch off and unplug the appliance. • Allow the appliance to cool before storing away. IMPORTANT! Always keep the rear of the appliance away from the hair during use, to prevent it being drawn in through the rear air filter. Heat and Speed Settings There are 3 heat and 2 speed settings plus the cold shot button. Use the higher heat and higher speed settings for initial drying and use the lower heat and lower speed settings for styling and scrunch drying as the hair begins to dry. Concentrator Nozzle Use the concentrator nozzle to direct the airflow as you style. IMPORTANT! Only use the concentrator nozzle on the lowest heat / speed setting. Diffuser Use the diffuser to enhance natural curls and create volume. IMPORTANT! Only use the diffuser on the lowest heat / speed settings.

Now, I know nada about hairdryers. Probably because I have not had to use one for a very long time as my hair did a runner many, many years ago. However, I needed a Christmas present for my Mum and she was after a spanky new hairdryer.

So, I basically came up with a shortlist of ones with the best reviews and at the best prices and passed this list to my better half who is far more in tune with these things. This model was recommended and duly purchased. Before I wrapped the gift up my wife saw it in the flesh and suffered an instant case of hairdryer envy - must be good then!

But, the last word comes from my Mother, and unlike the man from Delmonte, she says 'Excellent!'. Can't say fairer than that. Very powerful, dries very quickly and is pretty light to boot. Wish I had hair......

Does the job. More powerful than expected considering the price. I use the maximum setting (very powerful) for quick dry and medium one for blow dry. The temperature settings are very good also, my old one was cold/hot/too hot will burn your hair and the drier. That one has good settings, cold, warm (I can use it on my toddler without her running away because it’s too hot) and reasonably hot.
My only criticism is that the buttons are on the side of the handle. Make it less easy if you’re left handed or when you pass it from one hand to the other while blow drying as with your left hand you can’t reach the buttons with your thumb. Buttons in the middle work better.

Brought this as it was time to upgrade to one with a uk plug as I have been using a travel plug adapter with a travel hairdryer for 4 years now... I know...I know just buy the damn thing!! instead of stuggling with the dodgy travel plug switching it on and off with every movement...

Lucky it turned up when it did as I discovered that my indoor guinea pigs had mites so I did the quick dash down to the pet store to buy them out of insecticide shampoo and invermectin.. ( does not get rid of covid only parasites and mites on animals...not for human use!!) after many protests and piggies trying to escape the wrath of the shampoo and wash i get the Babyliss platinim out of the box. I must say it's definitly an upgrade, not that that was difficult. lightweight, lots of power, dried them furry wee beasties up in no time. It's also not as loud as some people have said it is, the piggies (after the initial shock of turning it on, and them trying to scramble up my arm) seemed to get use to the noise quickly and settle in to their blow dry, it doesn't get too hot to handle on the wee beasties ears....

would say best hairdryer I have had in my adult life... but that's not saying much considering I put up with a travel hairdryer for 4 years that would cut out with any movement and my hair is as thick as a wolly mammoths so looking forward to giving this a go on myself when I can be bothered to actually wash and dry my hair.. considering this, the Piggies give it a 7/10 being that there are 7 of them they would recommend.

Although a little heavy and noisy, this is overall a great hairdryer for curly hair. It’s good-looking if that’s important to you and the settings are easy to use and switch between. The diffuser is twice the size of my old one so I can dry my hair faster. On the highest heat setting it gets pretty hot but if you keep your ears tucked in, it’s bearable! The cold shot works well and joy of joys it leaves my hair frizz free (although I’ve also treated my hair to a new washing regime and styling products so it may not just be the hair dryer!!). Sorted.

Bought this to replace my old Babyliss hairdryer which had been great until it broke.
Really do not like this model as it has 'slide' buttons rather than the 'press down/up' which they all used to have.
It does not slide easily so you go from 1 straight to 3, then have to carefully slide back to '2' which is my preferred speed setting. Very frustrating. Same with the heat setting. A serious design fault. I will be replacing it with a different brand which is easy to use.
Would not recommend.
