These are by far the best single-use razors for specialised purposes. I use them every few weeks to clear away the straggling soft hairs under my chin, which no other razor seems capable of removing - just dip in cold water and shave for a really good result. Used dry, they are excellent for under the arms and the groin area (including the genitals, where the skin is tougher than you might think); if you are nervous about this, try the razor across the belly first, and you'll gain confidence quickly. On no account use the same razor a second time, though, as the edge is soon lost. Cheap and cheerful, and excellent value for money.

What's not to like with this extreme-value pack? (Well, aside from the ludicrous waste of plastic that it produces - that aside...) At £1.23 for a pack of 20 blades, we get an almost-free 6.1p/blade.

This is very much a bare-essentials, no-frills product. You're not paying for ANYTHING, besides a sharpened, single blade on a frankly somewhat pathetic-looking hollow plastic straw. And if that satisfies your requirements for whatever reason, there is really little better that exists to my knowledge.

These should NOT be your primary shave. I have tried, and Sensitive 1's were indeed my first razor.
You will get a MUCH better experience with either a double-edged safety razor (like the QShave that resembles a Merkur Futur, or Baili) with Astra blades, or if your preference is for cassettes (yuck), something like Amazon's own Solimo, or the Gillette SkinGuard Sensitive I have. Both provide extremely satisfying results, and my personal preference is for DE, however the Gillettes are safer and easier to not accidentally slice yourself open with, especially under the lip. However, if the need arises (whatever it may be), then there is little better than the 6p Bic 1's. They will do the job. And no more. No rotating, multi-blade comfort, anything beyond the blade and a makeshift holder for it, really.

They're also exceptionally small, and if you so _desire_ due to their ludicrously low price I sometimes cut/saw most of the straw holder off, to keep almost just the head of the razor. At the cost of some maneuvrability (which by the way, you NEED to get to grips with quickly for this razor due to the lack of rotation), this results in possibly the absolutely most compact way to get a shave I know of, making it good for a trip bag.

You WILL get nicked sooner or later, or if you don't know how to maneuver a razor such as this - there is a specific angle it needs. You will almost certainly get angry that eventually it doesn't fully catch all areas. But you can make them last ages before that happens through proper maintenance (yes, even on a 6p razor - save the turtles!), and if you are buying a £1.23 20-pack of Bics, I have a feeling that top performance is not exactly your priority given a 100-pack of Astra blades to last you years costs under £10. I actually still buy these (very rarely due to how long they last me most of the time) despite owning a SGS and a DE razor, because the head is so small it's a great tool to get the final touch on trimming the moustache area.

To summarize - it does the bare minimum for a razor, and nothing more, in return for costing less than a single digestive biscuit. Please buy foam (£1 Gillette, or a £1-2 Eyvap Arko stick, I prefer the Arkos due to size and efficiency) if you need these, lest you want to look like Freddy Krueger instead of a classy businessman/businesslady. Recommended product, but there are exponentially better alternatives that only need a £20 investment every few years at most, and in 90% of cases will be a better option.

Really good quality blades and these were super cheap not worth going anywhere else with the free postage on prime too. BIC are great razors, no razor burn …..*TOP TIP ::: when shaving the body never remove the razor from the skin. This way you never cut yourself or get razor burn. So if you are shaving a leg start in one spot and go up down etc but never lift the razor off the skin. It’s faster and you get a really nice smooth shave.

If you're in your thirties now this is probably what your dad shaved with in the 80's, a design classic.

I've used just about every type of razor going and this is still a perfectly acceptable way of de-fuzzing.

Its cheaper and not demonstrably worse than any of the incredibly expensive multiblade or subscription cartridges.

I keep a beard so I actually use these to remove hair in the more personal/private areas. Having long hair in those regions is rather off-putting.

For that purpose, they are decent. They take more glides compared to previous razors but I've noticed they're far more gentler, leaving no cuts or rash.

Great value for money as well.

The only down side is the amount of none bio plastic which means all there’s probably quite a bit of pollution involved in making them and then the possibility of it being left in landfills is no good.

Theyre good if you want to keep them in a draw and use them occassionally when you cant find another razor or run out.

They shave okay but may cut you and dont produce the best shave so i wouldnt use all the time.

That being said as reserve / backup razors for the price (£1.60 ish for 20) they cant be faulted but i wouldnt want to use for every shave
