This is a story of survival in a strange new world.

Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Digimon Anime, Digimon Survive presents a brand-new adventure set in a mysterious world with characters designed by Uichi Ukumo and music by the acclaimed Tomoki Miyoshi.

Digimon Survive sees a brand new group of teenagers, led by Takuma Momozuka, get lost on a school camping trip, finding them transported to a strange new world of monsters and danger.

As they fight their way back home through an animated world of difficult decisions and deadly battles, players’ choices throughout the game will impact the evolution of their monster allies, and the final ending. Battles in the game are fought in 2D, in a more classic Tactical RPG style.

I have waited so long to play Digimon Survive and the wait was worth it , The visual novel portions of the game are animated really well and it feels like you are watching a new Digimon Anime , you also get to investigate loads of things on the maps , looking for items and using your mobile phone to scan Digital Glitches which can reveal things like Digimon , The Battles are also super fun and the animations for all the Digimon look amazing , there is also a free battle mode area you can go to recruit more Digimon and Level up at the same time , also this game lets you make choices that effect your Digimon and friends around you and if you make the wrong choices you can end up losing someone close to you , the sound effects and music are beautiful also really adding to the atmosphere of the game , If you are a Digimon fan then definitely pick this game up and support it so we can get more Digimon games the main developer of this game has also confirmed they are currently working on the next Digimon Story RPG so definitely pick up survive if you want to get your Digimon fix while they work on their next big Digimon RPG, Don't be put off by the visual novel aspect it's an amazing original experience for sure.
