How customer reviews and ratings work
Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings, help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Do not buy this game for the current price at £80, it's a ripoff. You can buy the first day edition for £44 and also on Currys it is £45

I need to admit, the beginning of this game is honestly absolutely horrendous. You begin the game and play the short tutorial. Once you complete that, you have the whole world at your fingertips. (Well, not really). You learn the basics of fighting and kill of any simple NPC's you bump into. But as soon as you come across anything that isn't a knight or zombie, you are toast. Don't even get me started on the first compulsory boss, Margit the Fell Omen. It is an absolutely disgusting intro to a game.
HOWEVER
Once you start to really get the hang of the game (I recommend exploring the map as much as you can, gain runes and level up and find a weapon that suits you best), you can really get going. Before you know it, Margit will seem like, well, nothing. By this point you should be about level 20 - 30 and having good fun, so all I can say is stay committed. Because if you do, you will be rewarded. So as horrible as the beginning is, if you are committed, you might just end up loving the game.

It was well appreciated by my niece and partner. I don’t know what it’s about but they were very pleased to receive it as a birthday gift.

I never imagined this could top demon souls. I was pleasantly surprised.
I have been playing videogames since 1991. I’ve had most if not all consoles since and a few pcs. I also own an arcade cabinet with over 2000 games.
For a while my all time favourite game was breath of the wild. I thought no one could ever give me the same open world wonder and exploration ever again. And after playing ghost of Tsushima I even thought open world games were just boring fetch quest world. I was wrong, Elden ring gave me that wonder back from the very first minute.
And the graphics wow. I thought horizon forbidden west had great graphics. Little did I know. The world, the art style, the enemy designs it’s too perfect. And the rain wow. Most beautiful ever. Playing on ps5.
The only disappointing thing is losing, it takes 3 to 5 seconds. And with the ps5 I grew acostumed to 2sec loading or no loading at all
Difficulty is perfect. In an Old gamer, I play my games on hardest and sometimes I still complain, I need a challenge, that’s what got me into video games in the first place, the challenge.
After playing hundreds of videogames. This is the best, no doubt. But now it’s destroyed video games for me as I’m sure I’ll never be this impressed again.

This maybe the most overhyped game ever. No detail or depth at all. Walk around hit stuff dodge hit stuff walk around a bit more. Graphics are average at best.

Very badly designed game. Progression is very difficult as the game does little to help guide you to suitable powered missions. This means everywhere you go you’re dying and can’t progress. Has great potential but just poorly designed. Also the combat is really bad, dodging is painfully slow so fights are not good.

This game is brilliant. I had never played this type of game before, and I love it. Its so rewarding and there's so much freedom to play how you want to. It strangely reminds me of minecraft of all games, I think its the fear of losing your ruins and the exploding of a unknown world. Brilliant game.

Im about 4 hours into the game I'm enjoying it a lot, definitely worth the money! The massive open world and the different bosses are leaving me very satisfied. Definitely Game of the Year for me! DON’T BUT THIS COPY OF THE GAME, GET THE FIRST DAY EDITION OR BUY IT OFF CURRYS.
