Okay I’m new to this Keto diet and to be honest, the more I read the more confused I got. I decided to order in what I thought were the basics (and a cook book), and included in that was this MCT oil. Before I started I contacted the guys who sell this to get some advice (they kindly offer to do this). They were brilliant and sent me useful information to get started. I used this oil from day one (just a teaspoon to get my body used to it (I’m on day 5 and have increased it to 2 teaspoons). I was in ketosis from day 2 (I don’t normally eat a lot of known carbs - potatoes, bread, etc, anyway so this probably helped).

I can honestly say that having this oil with my morning coffee, I can easily go to lunch time before eating something. Now I’ve upped it to 2 teaspoons I find that I cannot even finish my smaller portioned evening meals.

Like I said, I’m new to this and so currently have a few flu like symptoms and finding my feet, but I would highly recommend this oil, whether you’re new or not. Definitely a store cupboard essential.

I love this stuff. This MCT oil is great value for money. It came well packaged with a letter from the manufacturer offering help, advice and support with using it a lovely touch. I have an underactive thyroid and have changed the way I eat. I have been on keto however I have recently introduced a little more carbs in my diet. The difference to my health has been unbelievable. The MCT oil really supports my metabolism and helps my underactive thyroid condition. I have gone from an overweight, swollen exhausted person to someone who has bags of energy. I have lost losts of weight and I am not puffy or swollen anymore. My body loves this stuff .

I’m currently doing The Atkins diet, using this oil in my shake first thing in the morning easily gets me through to lunchtime without thinking of food at all. I then have a teaspoon in a very weak black coffee and my lunch and that gets me through to the evening meal. I’ve not noticed any taste and is easy to use, took advice on other reviews and starting with teaspoon and will work my up if I need to, will be buying again.

I'm taking this oil for 8 days now. I'm definitely a sceptic with these kind of things well what I can say I have no bad side effects from taking this and after a few days I thought I was trying to convince myself that I was feeling fuller, well there is no doubt now on the 8th that this stuff actually does curb the appetite, and pretty well I must say. I am taking it as per instructions and gradually building up the dose. It says take 18ml 2 to 3 times daily. I'm only on about 10ml 2 times a day. I haven't had an significant weight loss, yet. I am hoping that will come. I can't tell if it's "fat burning" but i will update the review. I am not on a keto diet but am.watching what I eat. Update in a few weeks

Don't really know if it works or not, as with this type of thing we never really do - it could be placebo effect however placebo effects are still a relevant thing. If it makes you feel better then it makes you feel better regardless of the How's and whys. It does make me eat less when I'm just entering ketosis - where I'm usually proper hungry and want to constantly eat. And then when I'm fully in ketosis and on one meal a day it makes me worry less about wether I'm eating enough. So I'll give it a thumbs up.
