Delivery was prompt and item well packaged.
Applied this product using Kranzle 1050TST cold pressure washer using Kranzle 1L snow foam bottle attachment.
As per autoglym instructions on bottle I placed 100ml in snow foam bottle and I topped up with 900ml of warm water.
Sprayed foam on low setting over vehicle and left to dwell for 15minutes so made a cup of coffee.
After 15minutes I was impressed with just how thick this foam was still spread over the car even on low setting of Kranzle foam lance.
Washed off foam after 15 minutes with the Kranzle cold pressure washer and very impressed with how clean the car came up.
I have used numerous snow foams over the years including Auto Finesse, Bilt Hamber, Nerta Carnet Jumbo to name just a few I but have to say that the Auto Glym Polar Blast is an excellent snow foam product for cleaning your car.
Although it is pricier for 2.5L of AG compared to say 5L of BH snow foam.
I would conclude and say that in my own opinion and others will disagree that the Auto Glym Polar Blast is Better than the Bilt Hamber Auto Foam, which I can,t praise highly and use on weekly basis but I am now swayed to using the AG over the BH Auto.
My only gripe is that the AG product costs more for less liquid, as BH is sold in 5L bottles whereas the AG does appear not. So the cost would be an issue with me when buying again in the future.
Auto Glym Snow Blast is an excellent snow foam to use on your car, and I would have given 5 star rating to AG but let down by high cost for only 2.5L as other brands would work out cheaper.
Hope my review helps you in your choice when choosing your next car snow foam cleaning product.
Thanks for checking out my review.
I decided to return this Autoglym Polar Blast, still new and sealed but unfortunately the cost of return is almost the same as the product cost so not going to bother now. I honestly thought snow foam would be a good pre wash, but it does nothing - read online, even detailers are moving away as they say its a pointless cost and more time consuming and offers nothing more than hosing your car down ready for a wash.
Delivery: Prime, guaranteed by the end of the week. Arrived early.
What can I say. My first experience with 'snow foam' is a total let down. This stuff is simply a marketing ploy to get people to take photos of their car while it's covered in white foam to slap on social media and tag Autoglym. Let's do the usual and break it down into pros and cons.
Pros:
+ Really easy to use. Picked up a bottle for my pressure washer lance a few weeks ago and decided to give the foam a try. Simply use a funnel if you have one and fill the bottle up. I used 2 parts water to 1 part foam
+ Plug and play. As soon as your bottle is filled, start spraying. Probably dependant on your lance bottle size, mine is approx 300-400ml and probably lasted about 3/4 mins of having the trigger pulled down
+ Saves time covering car with soap manually. Read cons for more details
+ Even during the pandemic, this came earlier than expected. Ordered on a Monday, said by Friday, but came on Wednesday.
Cons:
- The power of the foam. Don't expect this to make the dirt just fall off the car, it doesn't. I tried this on a small to medium car covered in light to moderate dirt/dust. Being my first snow foam attempted I decided to see what all the fuss about with people claiming the dirt to just run off. I did 2x runs.
First run was covering the car with foam and leaving it for a few minutes until the 'snow' has disappeared. I then pressure washed the remainder off and the results were pretty bad once the car dried. I have attached the photos of this first run so you can see for yourself.
The second run was better, however this time I covered the car with foam, then I allowed it soak for a few minutes then just attacked the car with a clean wash mitt. In all honesty, no better than regular car shampoo and wax combo. Might as well have continued using the two bucket of water and soap method - I guess it did save time covering the car with soap, but when you can pick up some Turtle Wax shampoo and wax for well less than half this stuff it's a no brainer.
Expected this to be a decent buy for colder months to speed up the process of car cleaning and detailing when you don't want to get your hands cold and be outside for a long period of time. Boy was I wrong. Stay away from this marketing ploy!

If you have a look at the images I have uploaded you will be able to see the full effect of the snow foam when using a foam lance. I tried using the soap sub attached to my jet washer, however, it didn't foam up at all and didn't work the way I expected.
The lance cost me an extra £19.99 but it made the snow foam work perfectly.
The final outcome was a dazzling shiny car that needed just drying off with a towel to prevent water smears.
