I've never before had such a low-quality item from any Amazon seller, and certainly won't be trying any more "Amazon Basics". I bought much stronger and sturdier storage boxes from Poundland recently. These bend and creak, the lids don't fit, and the whole impression is of something that won't last. They definitely aren't any kind of bargain. I'd send them back if I didn't need them NOW, and will be going back to Poundland ASAP.

Bought these as I'm redesigning my craft room and wanted a variety of box sizes that would stack and see what's inside. Sizes are way out. The small one is approximately 1.5 litre not 5 litre and measures 18.5x16x8.5cm. the medium one is 33x19x10cm, the largest is 40x34x17cm (all wxdxh). I would have ordered more of the medium and large sizes but the descriptions may also be incorrect.
On The plus side I do have a use for what I have received.

Smaller than I had expected and fairly durable, but that depends on the products you put in it. One of the lids cracked - and takes a bit of fiddle to get the lids right. They are great for storing make-up, small products etc. I'd probably buy them again if I needed ones this size again.
