Superb quality, attractive design and very useful.

I’m really pleased with this outdoor rug. It’s 152 x 90 cm big so a decent size, extremely well made, lightweight and really pretty. It comes in a long drawstring topped bag for storage. When you slide it out it has two elastic straps that sit on each end to stop it unrolling. Once opened up it immediately lays flat and on closer inspection you can see it’s quality. It has bound edges so it won’t fray and inner stitching to further strengthen it. It can be turned over for a black version of the front pattern. It struck me that the golden colour is beautiful for daytime but the black would look amazing if you were having an evening garden party. It’s made of woven plastic straws which have been expertly twisted …you can see the quality from my close up photo. This rug is going to be brilliant when my baby grandson comes. He can sit safely on it and stay clean and protected from the patio slabs. It would be ideal for picnics, on the beach or just to look really attractive under a veranda or in a summer house so extremely versatile. It would also be ideal for a conservatory or play shed. To clean the rug it tells you to just use water …I reckon you could hose it down and throw it over the washing line to dry. It can be left outside….would I do this…probably not as it’s so nice I want to protect it so I get many years of use. If it was partially undercover I would leave it out but only for the summer months. It is lightweight so make sure it’s not going to disappear on a windy day. Id also make sure it isn’t anywhere near a barbecue or fire pit. Being plastic it would melt. It costs a fair bit so I think it’s worth looking after to ensure value for money. During the summer this will be used extensively so for that reason I feel it’s price is fair and I can’t knock the quality. I’m really impressed by this and would definitely recommend it. My neighbour has already commented on how lovely it is and my family all think it’s brilliant.

The mat is slimmer than expected, about the width of two stair runners side by side but it does have a longer length than expected too. It measures 64" x 35" (163cm x 89cm) or 5"4 by 3ft.
I am not familiar with lots of types of outdoor rugs, the only outdoor one i have other than this is a canvas feel one, a bit like a rope feel. This one is totally different in feel, it reminds me of the coloured plastic rope you can buy, ( a bit like kids skipping ropes). Its possibly this that puts me off a little, but it is meant to be an outdoor rug and it will definitely last outside, be easily washable and is a really lovely bright colour and i don't think it will fade quickly.
I would recommend on design and colour alone, i'm just unsure its a good price but this is more due to my lack of experience.
The rug is reversible too, more lovely colours, just the colours reversed.
The rug also has its own handy cloth carry bag, and yes it is very easy to get back in the bag, there was no battle lol.
It also arrived very quickly and well pacakegd.
