What can I say, but that this is the worst mouse pad I've ever had the misfortune to use. It utterly fails the most basic of functions - the ability to stay in one place so that I can actually move the mouse across it. If I hold it in place on top of the table (a table, I might add, that is in no way the holy grail of frictionless surfaces, so just calm down, science), the mouse glides beautifully. But, I feel this two-handed approach would be a little like using a steering wheel, thereby pushing me back a few decades.
What a load of pants.

I originally bought a couple of these for another purpose (small DIY job) but decided to try one as a mouse mat. I have another mat which works well but as it is fabric it gets a little mucky over time and even being black the grubbiness still shows.This mat is very basic but it works well and is super easy to keep clean - the mouse glides over the surface well which is important. I have not suffered the issue of the mat sliding over my desk but there are two sides to the item, one being more grippy. I used to do a lot of CAD work and still use a PC for photo editing so having a good mouse & mouse mat combo is important to me - this one is just about as good as a mat I bought several years ago for £20. Perhaps the material could be a little better but I'm being very picky here.

I have not suffered the issue of the mat sliding over my desk but there are two sides to the item, one being more grippy. I used to do a lot of CAD work and still use a PC for photo editing so having a good mouse & mouse mat combo is important to me - this one is just about as good as a mat I bought several years ago for £20. Perhaps the material could be a little better but I'm being very picky here.
