I’m a 30 inch waist and ordered the small. Unsurprisingly the shorts are a little roomy as the small sizing is listed at 31.5 however I wouldn’t describe them as being too large.The elasticated waist has a drawstring and there’s no lining. I’m really pleased that they don’t have a lining as I have a real aversion to the stuff and, if I ever have any shorts with it in, I always end up chopping it out.Lightweight and quick dry, they are very comfortable and quite versatile. They’re a nice smart looking casual short and would also be great for the beach and summer paddleboarding. Mine have washed well on a 30 degree wash with no clothes softener.Decent usable pockets both sides with a zip. The side, zipped pocket is great for lightweight items but you wouldn’t want anything too heavy in there as the material is lightweight and won’t hang well if you put too much in there.At £22.49 I think they are quite expensive though. Whilst I would expect to pay a premium price for a fashion brand, I am surprised at the cost for an Amazon product.
