This is overall a great camera, I have been waiting for these to be available in the UK since launch in the states. I like wired IP cameras over wi-fi all day long even when using 5ghz.
When ordering i never really looked at what's included so was very supprised to find it included a PoE injector, however I have used the camera with my existing PoE switch.
You can use the PoE injector to supply power and use Wi-fi as connectivity, this maybe handy for some users when mounting outside, however the PoE injector should remain indoors.
The camera does have a very wide angle just like the rest of the Ring Range.
loss of 1 star due to limited app settings, Camera would be much better if there was a Home / Away feature, I know you can set schedules but using Home Away would be a better option for myself.

I wasnt 100% sure when I bout this product about how I was going get power to it due to the location I wanted to stick the camera at.
I was putting my camera outside so Ring recommends to use the PoE connection.
But I was shocked by the contents of the box, it had everything, inside was the power source and the PoE injector to send 'power over ethernet'. It had approx 9-10 meters of ethernet cable and a smaller 1 meter ethernet cable to connect the injector to my router.
But that's not all. They also included the indoor power adaptor too with decent length cable.
And the nice touches they also include the HSS masonry drill bit sized for all of the fixing bolts and for the cable clips, and also a screwdriver with the correct heads needed.
Overall im very impressed, but I did drop 1 star because the power plug for the PoE come with changeable heads depending upon if your in GB or EU or USA. But mine seemed to arc a little whilst plugged in. Luckily I swapped the GB plug adaptor for the other one in the box and it seemed ok.
