Probably the most effective bite stick around

I've worked all over the world and had the very dubious of honour of being bitten by most things. These bite pens are probably the best at dealing with bites.... initial pen ... then antihistamine cream/tablet. Keep on with the pen as long as it is effective. After a while it will stop working ... around 5 applications. Then it's antihistamine cream. If it's really bad then a steroid cream. If you live in the UK though this will deal with just about anything. Totally recommended.

Top product but a couple of things to bear in mind. It is unbelieveably effective if you get it on within about 10 mins of a bite/sting. After that it is still excellent but its ability to react immediately starts reducing. It will also wear off after about 6 hours so you will need to give it another dose if it's started irritating again. It also smells (as others have said kind of ammonia like) but this wears off within a minute and is only really noticable if you get really close to sniff it so, realistically, I would not worry unduly over the smell if that is causing you a concern. If you suffer from bites and stings try it - it really has worked wonders for me with the Cleg bites I get in my garden.

This stuff really works if you apply it very soon after the bite. A bit smelly when applied (but smell soon goes) but it really takes the itchiness away. I suffer very bad reactions to mosquito bites and this is the first product that has worked for me.

I usually get eaten alive by mozzies so I keep these pens handy. They immediately soothe the inflammed area and the bite seems to go dormant quickly and heal up. It also stops the itch. You can apply as much as you like to the affected area throughout the day. Far better than any other similar product I've used. I wouldn't be without this.

I suffer horribly from insect bites. They itch horribly for days and I often end up making the area red raw as I can't resist scratching. Spotted this on Amazon and thought I would give it a try.

It works! True, it reeks of ammonia but that is a small price to pay.

The "dabber" makes it easy to apply directly to the bite. And the area usually calms down within a day - rather than the four or five days of intense itching that I usually experience. One tip - the quicker you can apply the remedy to the bite the better the result.

I have previously bought After Bite and I feel that this product is not quite as strong or as effective as the original purchase. The amount of ammonia seems to have been reduced as it doesn’t smell quite so strong. However I have only used it once, so it is difficult to judge.
