Most of dual channel TENS untis on the market today have independent intensity controls for each channel. What this means is that you can increase and decrease the "massage" strength/intensity separately within the channels. The major advantage with a dual channel device is that you can "massage" two areas (or sides of the body) simultaneously. With a single channel unit, you are limited to one area for a comfortable feeling. What are fully isolated channels? Fully isolated channels enable you to run separate programs in different channels, rather than just control the intensity for the channel. This is a quite a recent development and can be found on this AUVON dual channel TENS machine. For example, you could choose Acupuncture mode in channel 1 with an intensity level of 5 for your shoulder. While in channel 2, the Tapping mode is being run with the intensity set to level 10 on your back. In this condition, you will never worry about the strength is too weak on your back while too high on you shoulder where you feel more sensitive. Maintenance and Care 1. Maintenance and Care

1. When you are finished using the TENS device, turn it off and take off the pads. Store the unit in a cool,dry place until next use.

2. After usage, please cover the pads with the included pads holders / protective film and put them back in the included pouch. Applying a few drops water before and after usage will increase the longevity of the pads.

3. Charge the unit at least every 3 month in event it is not used regularly. You can also charge the unit with the wall charger(not included) or directly from your computer using the included USB cable.

TENS machines are basically the same, just with different functions, controls etc. Over the years I have had quite a few ranging from £20-120 and the actual effectiveness has been no different.

I like this one for several reasons. Firstly the display is very clear and the buttons are easy to use, secondly the functions are split into 3 different groups. I only use the pain control so I don't have to mess about with programs I will never use, thirdly it has a timer that goes to 90 minutes and finally it has a lock so once the unit is setup for a session you aren't going to accidentally knock a button and change the program mid use.

This product is Amazing! I never thought anything could give me such pain relief... I have severe advancesd osteoarthritis in my knees, I'm only 53 and although I need knee replacements, the doctors have advised I'm too young to have the op yet and have advised to hold off as long as possible!!!! From someone who could hardly walk, even on all the painkillers I was taking daily, 2x50mg Tramadol taken along with 2x Co-codamol and 2x ibuprofen - 4 times a day, just to be able to walk around the house with some ease.....I use this machine twice a day, morning and night for 40 minutes each knee and I am down to taking just 2x tramadol only twice a day!!! I can walk further without the intense pain I had before I cannot recommend this product enough! I only wish I'd purchased one sooner!!!

I purchased this when I recently damaged my back. I already had a Tens unit that I bought a couple of years ago but I dropped it and it broke, irreparably.
I ordered this model because of the triple function, Tens, EMS & Massage, plus the reviews about pain relief were good.
So far I have been really pleased. The main unit is around the size of a mobile phone and quite sturdy. The functions are easy to navigate after the initial exploration. It is a lot more intense than my Tens was, which is good and what I needed. The timer on it can be set to quite a long time too which is a bonus as my other model only allowed for 20mins, which was never long enough.
I have used all the modes (my back was bad) and it's worked so I'm very happy... plus added bonus was that I ordered it in the morning (Prime) and it arrived by the evening!
I would recommend this product.

Ordered this TENS machine for my hubby as a last ditch attempt to help with some pain relief. Never used one before so wasn't really sure what to expect. It's quite dinky, which is convenient and discreet. Less so are the loud clickidy buttons, but as a first time purchase, it is something that can be overlooked. The unit has lots of options. I think you would tend to find the few you liked and just stick with those. It's quite powerful and we had a laugh messing with the intensities while figuring it out. I can go no higher than 2-3 out of 10, but I think this depends on where you place the pads and how bad your pain is. The pads themselves are very sticky - which could be a issue if you are hairy, but over all a good thing. Time will tell if it helps with pain. I don't think it can help with all types of pain, but strains, sprains, tension etc look to be most suitable. Overall not too much to spend - as much as hiring one from BOOTS. If buttons were not so noisy and feel so cheap, I would give it 5 stars. Has a two year warranty, so not too worried about quality issues. Worth a try.
Update a week later - the range of intensity you can tolerate comfortably defo depends on where you place the pads on your body. I initially tested on forearm and it was like chinese burns if too high, but on knee, the same selections but at 5/6 feel very nice. I think you can take more the more you use it also.

For someone who has AS and chronic back pain, I decided to buy this one based on a doctor-friend recommendation as it is a dual function one

I charged it initially for a couple of hours and used it for 70 minutes .. the relief was incredible.. wasn’t expecting this level .. and after using it for 70 minutes, I checked the charge remaining .. I was pleasantly shocked to see it still on full charge (almost)

I started slow and increased tense to a little less than too painful (as advised by my rheumatologist)

Couldn’t recommend more to lower back pain, stiff neck or painful shoulder muscles

Instructions manual is very useful, highly recommended to read it before you do anything.

I gave it to him as a Christmas present but his was unsure because of his operation. Finally he decided to use it and only using the first time he has noticed it has helped.
He persuaded me to use too and I must say it's brilliant. I normally go for acupuncture but this is perfect.
I only have one minor negative remark and that is it's ashame it doesn't come with a clip-on for your waist, although it does come with a pouch for storage. 👍👍

No sooner I registered the product I received free pads a couple of days later. Excellent customer service most definitely.
