From the manufacturer

The AA Digital Air Compressor is a multi-functional unit designed to inflate vehicle tyres up to a maximum pressure of 120PSI, with a power output of 12V. It is very easy-to-use and plugs directly into the 12V socket in your car via the 3m plug cord.
The unit has a variety of pressure settings such as PSI, BAR and KPA and comes with additional adapters for use on other inflatables such as sports balls, air beds and more.
The pressure you require can be pre-set and the unit will automatically shut off once this has been reached to ensure you don't over inflate.
The LED lamp features three settings, light, flash and SOS.
Features include:
- PSI, BAR and KPA settings.
- Pre-set pressure with automatic shut-off.
- 3 LED lamp settings: light, flash and SOS.
- Adaptor for other inflatables.

Power cable (cigarette lighter style) is a good length to reach front and rear tyres (have to switch door/window you put it through to switch sides). It can also be coiled (has to be neat though) and fits in to a compartment on rear. Same can be said for airline but it coils into a recess on one end. The end of the airline has a screw type adapter and creates a good seal to valve.
There is a LED torch on one end that has proven useful when I lost the valve cap in the dark, however it doesn't have (or really need) a very long range.
The LCD display is lit and easily legible and can be switched between psi, BAR, etc.
Plug it in, connect airline to tyre, check current pressure (reasonably accurate but prefer a dedicated gauge for final check), set desired pressure and hit on button. It seems to inflate to a pressure slightly above set pressure, possibly to allow for any leakage as you unscrew airline and then stops the pump.
The pump will remember the last set pressure so if you're doing multiple cars (bloody family) double check what you need.
As for reliability, I've used this numerous times over the last 12-18 months (occasionally multiple times I one day) it's still going strong. If you're running it for long periods or repeatedly allow it to cool down as the airline will get quite hot. Heat production is a natural side product of compressing air.
A good pump for a good price.
UPDATE:-
Nearly 3 years on and besides picking up a few scratches and one of the small rubber pads on the back (act like feet) vanishing it still works perfectly.
I've seen a few identical pumps with the only difference being the branding, not sure if quality is the same/worse/better but if you look around you might find a good deal.
Just a shame in my case that a product with the AA name attached to it does not fit a popular UK vehicle!
All my other items attach without a hitch to the socket.
Trying to get a connection in the socket was painful. Kept turning off. It wasn't the socket, as I tried 2 in my car, and they are fine. I finally got it working, and it did 3 tyres before displaying an error code 'ERR'. Nothing will get rid of that code.
Even if it worked, the design is appalling. It's one of those screw-in nozzles instead of a lever. So when you put it on, it lets out air, and when you take it off, it lets out even more air. Not only that, it is painfully slow. To increase a tyre from 26PSi to 32PSi took over 3 minutes.
It really is a god-awful bit of kit - the sort that makes you angry about the waste. Even if it hadn't broken after one use, I'd be returning it as unfit for purpose.
I have a large family vehicle and the length of the power cord isn't quite long enough to be able to pump up the rear tyres using the power socket in the front but I do have a socket in the boot so it's no problem but could be for others with only one socket. An extra metre would be perfect!
The length of the hose is just right in case you have parked with the valve at the top, the unit will sit nicely on the floor, I've seen other models where the hose isn't long enough and the unit is then dangling and bashing in to the wheel so this is a plus for me. The only downside with the hose I feel is that the screw fitting onto the wheel can be a little stiff so you have to be conscious to get the hose off the tyre quickly after inflation so as not to lose too much air from the tyre.
All round great tool for a great price.
