I've got a large hobby class drone but I have not been able to use it much due to the poor weather (west coast of Scotland) so I bought this drone as a bit of a "punt" in the hope that I could fly it indoors and build up my drone control skills. I wasn't expecting much for the cost but I have found this tiny drone to be an absolute delight to fly indoors and even outdoors (when there is no wind). The three batteries give you plenty of flying time and the propellor guards work well when I've cocked it up! Wish I had spent a little more and bought the version with the camera! Highly recommended, for kids and big kids!

I've owned a few drones but this one is particularly good because you can store the drone in the remote, so you can bundle it into a bag and take it on the go with you. Controls work well, and the drone is responsive and resilient. Would recommend to anyone wanting a good value drone that can be taken on the go!

Worked great for one week: easy to learn, controllable, and very good fun. It didn't even break in the inevitable learned crashes.

Until: today. Pressed the take off button. It took off, climbed, and never stopped climbing until it was out of sight and well lost. Such a shame to lose a favourite Christmas gift that way!

Perhaps stick to indoors flying with this one.

Edit: Amazingly, a neighbour found it about 300m from it's take off location and returned it to us. It appears to have landed automatically when out of rance of the controller. I've given it 4 stars because of this.

A truly remarkable 'toy' at the price.

I got one of these as a bit of fun, under £40 with a 720 fixed camera. Drone was ok, easy enough to get the hang of pretty quickly. Camera was functional at best. I ordered some spare blades and extra batteries and then 2 days later I crashed the drone into a massive blackberry bush. It was gone so I replaced it with this version, cheaper, no camera bit has a bright led on the front. Worked brilliantly, much better for judging which direction it was flying I got pretty good with it and for a small drone it shifts.........
However this afternoon in the back garden it decided it had had enough. I changed the drone battery for a charged one, re synced the controller, re set the drone, took off and it just kept going, pushed the auto land button the kill button, nothing, it just flew straight up and out of site. It's very lightweight but I hope it didn't damage anything when it eventually crashed. I will not be replacing it and am now wondering if I actually crashed the 1st one or if it just stopped responding?

Very easy to set up and start to use, but lots of options to master once you know the basics. Although small and delicate-looking, it is a robust little thing! My children's poor piloting skills have really put it to the test and it is still in one piece after a week of their abuse! The portability is great - it folds up small and goes into the controller itself to give it protection. Battery life is good for the size and it comes with 2 spares (3 batteries in total) so one can always be on charge. Both me and my children love it and so far we are very pleased with it.

I received the item and took it out to make sure it worked because it was a gift for my 6 yr old grandson and even I had a hard time understanding the instructions, all it would do is fly straight at the ceiling and stay there even when i tried to tell it to land, then a checked another advert for the same thing and it says 14 plus so I have wasted money on a gift that is no good for the intended person.
The package was in good condition when it arrived and it was not in a box that was twice as large as it like i usually seem to receive from amazon they really need to look into there packaging systems because they are wasting resources and making more waste for the customer

I love this little Drone.

It's not the most stable thing but for the money it's good fun and surprisingly resilient.

I only use it indoors and zooming around the house. Wouldn't trust it outside.

Headless mode makes it easy to control. The three speeds can get pretty zoomy! And the flip function is pretty cool.

Three batteries give plenty of flying time.

Great fun and highly recommended.

Can be tricky to control if you're not used to drones, gaming, flying.

Cheap poor quality 5 minute wonder

I got this as a friend suggested getting a relatively cheap drone to practice with to get used to flying, etc. So opted for this.

When it arrived I was a little confused as the box as some other reviews have stated suggested it came with a camera, when in fact it didn't (mine shouldn't have, there is a smidge more expensive version with a camera) the drone itself is very small and lightweight, slightly noisy but to be expected, however this thing can not fly to save it's life, nor is the battery close to what it says can be achieved.

Even with trying to manually stabilise the drone, it will not hover in the same spot, the trick it can do (flip?) worked half the time (possibly due to inability to hover) and the battery wasn't getting much further than 5 minutes, even after several attempts and full charges (should be between 8-10 mins) for a total of 30 between the 3... I'd be generous if I said 20, but 15 is more right.

Overall I can't recommend this product, whether I just had a duff one or that is the quality, it misleads on several levels and is no fun at all, to play or learn with.
