I 100% recommend anyone who LOVED Until Dawn to purchase 'The Quarry' because believe me, you shall not regret it.
This is all you need to do in this game.
Positives : Great graphics. A good storyline. Great actors although the acting isn't as good as Until Dawn The camera work is mostly OK but as some people have said navigation at times is hard due the darkness or camera angle.
Negatives: The characters are too jokey and don't seem bothered when someone dies. Considering these are meant to be friends it seemed 'off' The QTE's are disappointing. You have no chance of failing them, like EVER! Its the same all the time with maybe the direction different. Until Dawn through a triangle or square and sometimes they were quicker than others. Here in this game every QTS is the same length and same button.
There is no 'end' scene for the characters that survive at the end so the ending seems hollow - you get an update of what happened to each character though in a similar way to the police interviews in Until Dawn. I guess there are so many different endings. Any character can actually die although a few have plot armour to later chapters. Its impossible to keep everyone alive in first play through as decisions made in chapter 1 and 2 come back to haunt you by chapter 8. You do get a reverse timeline on second playthough to change decisions made.
10 chapters, varying in length depending on characters left alive.
Not as good as Until Dawn - I don't feel they can surpass that but this is better that the Dark Pictures anthology stories.
The visuals are so life like.
Played the couch co-op with my other half brilliant Idea. It makes a fresh change that you can co-op without having to buy two copies of the game.
